Her Majesty the Queen On April 21st, 1926, Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor was born. She is King George VI’s and Queen Elizabeth’s eldest daughter. Princess Margaret was born four years later. They did not accompany their parents on royal excursions while they were in their teens because the monarch believed they were too young.
