Sadly, Breaking Amish wasn’t nearly as authentically shown as the show’s creators claimed. Jezebel alleged that the Amish characters in the show had defected years before the show’s airing began. You may be astonished to learn this if you believed them when they said they were leaving the neighborhood for the “first time.”
