“I never thought a picture of my body would be tacked up in men’s bathrooms,” she explained, “I hate men looking at me and thinking what they think. And I know what they think. They write and tell me.” Worse, she noticed a peephole in one of the dressing rooms. The individual who was in charge of this was terminated. Lynda Carter commented on her experiences with sexual harassment as an actress in 2018. She shared the following with The Daily Beast in light of the #MeToo movement: “I fended off my share [of unwanted attention, and] I’ve been afraid. [But] if a man tried something, I would say, ‘Are you kidding me?’… We were women’s lib, burn the bra. We weren’t going to take any **** from people.”
