She shared the following with The Daily Beast in light of the #MeToo movement: “I fended off my share [of unwanted attention, and] I’ve been afraid. [But] if a man tried something, I would say, ‘Are you kidding me?’… We were women’s lib, burn the bra. We weren’t going to take any **** from people.”
