The Washington Nationals have opted to make Julie Alexandria, a field reporter for MASN, a member of the team. How? By giving her a Gatorade bath after the game! That’s correct. In 2013, the Nationals won their first game. Alexandria was interviewing pitcher Gio Gonzalez when she became the subject of her own Gatorade drenching! Fortunately, Alexandria handled the situation admirably! She did, however, take a second Gatorade shower the next day after another Nationals victory. Alexandria was interviewing Jordan Zimmerman after he pitched a one-hitter in a 1-0 win over the Reds when she was drenched yet again! Thankfully, the team felt she was now one of their own after the second shower.

Reporter Brittney Kleyn was preparing for her live show in front of the local courthouse when she was surprised by a visitor. A rogue parrot decided to land on her shoulder at that precise moment! Kleyn was so taken aback by the surprise visitor that she started screaming in horror! Naturally, the anchor believed she was being attacked! Fortunately, the videographer came to the rescue after a good laugh. He was able to dislodge the parrot from its new perch after a brief moment. Lola, the parrot, turned out to be a lost pet. Thankfully, Lola’s owner was reunited with her thanks to the viral video.
