Welcome to This World, Elijah!
Not everyone considers the probability of having multiple babies in pregnancy to be a risk, particularly if they are hoping for twins or triplets. Despite the fact that Nadya had no hopes of having twins or triplets, the IVF procedure produced impressive results. It was a huge success, and Nadya gave birth to her first child, a sweet baby boy named Elijah, in 2001. After all of her struggles, Nadya had finally realized her dream, but she wasn’t finished yet; in fact, she was just getting started.
Babies, Babies, And More Babies!
Nadya gave birth to another IVF boy, a girl she called Amerah, a year after giving birth to Elijah. Many people’s desire for children would be fulfilled after having two children, but not Nadya’s – her positive experience with IVF fueled her desire for more children and motivated her to pursue more treatments. She eventually had two more children and a pair of fraternal twins, making her a mother of six! Even though six children is considered sufficient in countries such as the United States, Nadya felt compelled to have more after her sixth child was born.
