7. Agusta A129 Mangusta

The Italian A129 assault helicopter is Western Europe’s first of its sort. After the Cold War ended, the Italian design, which was the lightest among its global competitors, was revised. The aircraft were streamlined and ballistic protection was lowered since NATO no longer expected to face a Soviet armor attack. At the time, it was regarded to be comparable to the American AH-64 Apache.
