Joe Satriani
Joe Satriani has been nominated for a Grammy 15 times. Satriani made a living as a guitar teacher before becoming a rock god, even teaching a young guitarist named Steve Vai at one point. His breakout album, Surfing With the Alien, which features the famous illustration of Marvel Comics’ Silver Surfer on the cover, cemented his reputation as one of the greatest instrumental rock guitarists of all time.
