In the hopes of keeping the alterations to the property, Harzallah and Almasri made an after-the-fact planning proposal. Sadly, the district council rejected the application. They decided to try once more by sending an appeal to a higher body. Unfortunately for them, the National Planning Inspectorate for England and Wales rejected them once more. A couple of months later, the couple finally demolished the illegal fencing. Everyone assumed that they were finally complying with the regulations!
