Political Correctness
Political correctness avoided forms of expression or action meant to exclude people who were socially disadvantaged or discriminated against. We could all agree that people who were different from us should be treated with courtesy and decency like everyone else. However, Baby Boomers had taken a different definition of political correctness.
Linoleum Flooring
Linoleum flooring was typically made from solidified linseed oil, ground cork dust, mineral fillers, pine resin, and sawdust. Linoleum floors looked appealing for numerous years, but their fame was slowly weaning off. Linoleum was nothing more than a thin sheet of plastic that covered our floors. It was apparent that the home décor did not fare well with time.
