Fuzzy Toilet Seat Covers
It might be next to impossible to find out who invented the fuzzy toilet seat covers that our parents or nannies kept in our bathrooms. These covers were as filthy as the bacteria they contained and would eventually have a pungent smell. And even though it was confirmed that people loved fancy stuff, sitting on a shag carpeting on our butts was not the best idea.
Records
Records were thin plastic disks that carried recorded sounds for reproduction by record players. It might be fortunate that Target and Walmart were selling tapes and record players and made a huge comeback. We would offer all of these to the Baby Boomers because they were out of date and a little impractical.
